On 27 th February 2019 our school was visited by a special guest – a judge and TV celebrity Mrs. Anna Maria Wesołowska. The students of the whole school had a chance to participate in a lecture that was devoted to the legal regulations concerning under-aged youth. The judge gave many examples from her work experience and also allowed students to ask questions and enquire about the topics of interests to them. The lecture made students realise that they are responsible for their own choices and actions and have to face their consequences.

During the last days of February our school was the organizer of the 2 nd Psychological Congress. Due to the fact that in Poland that time of the year is devoted to mental health, we decided to offer our students a possibility to reflect on their emotional balance and well-being. The students, both from IB DP and national curriculum took part in many workshops and lectures that allowed them to think our their priorities in life and give them tools to make necessary changes in order to find the balance in their everyday reality.

It was the third time that our IB DP students organized the BiaMun conference in our city. The event was held from 22 nd to 24 th February 2019 in Białystok and was a great chance for our students to check the degree of the development of the IB Learner Profile attributes in practice. Not only did the organization of the festival require a lot of hard work, but it also allowed the students to strengthen their thinking skills as well as reflect on the issues of global perspective.
