Learner profile attribute: KNOWLEDGEABLE

The day of 12th of March 2019 was a very cheerful day in our school as we decided to focus our attention on creativity. The IB DP students who constitute a award-winning team that takes part in Destination Imagination competitions decided to share their experience and inspire younger school-mates to become more creative. The students prepared a day event that took place in the school gym which allowed the participant to take an active part in a selection of engaging challenges which required thinking skills, cooperation and innovation.

On the 26 th September 2019 our guest was Mr Marek Kaczmarzyk Ph.D, a scientist who researches human brain and the influence it has on our emotions and relations. The guest talked about the way our brain works and how it affects the way young people shape their relations with grown-ups. He also referred to the need of being balanced and how to achieve it through the positive relationships with people that surround us.

Attribute of the month: RISK-TAKER

On the 4 th of October 2019 we invited to our school a journalist of the local radio station Mr Żmicier Kościn. Our guest talked about the positive side of taking risks and referred to his own experienced or a person who long time ago risked everything, moved to a different country and found his home there. The guest stressed the need to follow one’s inner voice and be stay true to your ideas and find your own way in life.
