Learner profile as a whole

On the 20 th March 2019 our school opened its doors for prospective candidates. The IB DP students, as every year, prepared a separate classroom that was devoted to the IB Diploma Programme. The candidates could talk with our DP students, ask them questions and get to know the programme philosophy, including the Learner profile attributes. It was a great opportunity to promote IB DP in the local community.

Attribute of the month: RISK-TAKER

On the 4 th of October 2019 we invited to our school a journalist of the local radio station Mr Żmicier Kościn. Our guest talked about the positive side of taking risks and referred to his own experienced or a person who long time ago risked everything, moved to a different country and found his home there. The guest stressed the need to follow one’s inner voice and be stay true to your ideas and find your own way in life.

Learner profile attribute: BALANCED

During the last days of February our school was the organizer of the 2 nd Psychological Congress. Due to the fact that in Poland that time of the year is devoted to mental health, we decided to offer our students a possibility to reflect on their emotional balance and well-being. The students, both from IB DP and national curriculum took part in many workshops and lectures that allowed them to think our their priorities in life and give them tools to make necessary changes in order to find the balance in their everyday reality.
