On 25 th March 2019 our school community decided to engage in helping a young girl who suffers from spastic paralysis. The main goal was to support her rehabilitation. Our students decided to bake and sell cakes in order to gather the means for the girl’s dolphin therapy. Due to the fact that we have already supported the girl through different actions in the previous school years, the students had the opportunity to show empathy and compassion to a person who is close to us and needs our help. Such close relation with the girl and her parents allow the students to see what positive changes in the girl’s life happen thanks to their involvement.

On the 20 th March 2019 our school opened its doors for prospective candidates. The IB DP students, as every year, prepared a separate classroom that was devoted to the IB Diploma Programme. The candidates could talk with our DP students, ask them questions and get to know the programme philosophy, including the Learner profile attributes. It was a great opportunity to promote IB DP in the local community.

The day of 12 th  of March 2019 was a very cheerful day in our school as we decided to focus our attention on creativity. The IB DP students who constitute a award-winning team that takes part in Destination Imagination competitions decided to share their experience and inspire younger school-mates to become more creative. The students prepared a day event that took place in the school gym which allowed the participant to take an active part in a selection of engaging challenges which required thinking skills, cooperation and innovation.
